Customer Reviews

"Great location right near the Brazos Riverwalk suspension Bridge area. A beautiful walk from major hotels and Baylor University. The food is good, Ginger soup was clean and refreshing, perfect for a cool evening. The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) was good but not amazing. I was bummed that they no longer serve Fresh Rolls . The restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent! I would definitely go back and try other menu items."

"Waco is blessed by this Thai restaurant and we are thankful. We've been supporters for years and are thankful for the consistently good food and good atmosphere. Whether takeout or dine in, you can count on Bangkok. We consistently get the pad kee mao, the pad Thai, Panang and green curry. Can't go wrong with any of these."

- Will A.

"Had the yellow & green curry. Sorta bland with some heat but not terrible overall. Zaza Thai in McKinney gives 2 cups more curry for the same price with amazing flavors & 0-5 heat level, + 7 types and 7 meat choices. Duck is absolutely amazing"

- Kevin J.

"The portions were not comparable to the prices. There seemed to be a lacking of spices/flavor to the dishes as well. The atmosphere is quite nice and the restaurant is attractively decorated. The waitress is extremely polite and friendly but the gentleman who brought the dishes to the table and operated the register appeared to have left his warmth and charm at home."

"The flavors are great in the sauce. Plenty of vegetables. Good, but better option available in Waco. Rice needed some work."

"We have been dining at Bangkok Royal for about 15 years. Even before they moved to their current location. While sometimes there has been variations in a dish we have never been disappointed. The staff has has always been very friendly."

- Christi E.

"Our first time to this Thai restaurant. We ordered the appetizer combo and everything on it was good. For the main course, we ordered Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Beef Kana, Pad See Ew, and Garlic Pork. All dishes were good. For dessert, we ordered Coconut ice cream with Sticky rice. The ice cream is home made and was delicious. It tasted better with the sticky rice. We would definitely come back!"
